The planet San-soon
is the center of Eldin-gar's power. Its vast
fields and plains are tinted with the red rays of the nearest sun.
Although San-soon has only one main body of water, it does have many
oasis and a complex underground water system that many of the races,
including those that once lived underground before the Dragon Wars could
use for irrigation and farming. There is no shortage of
foliage, complex terrain, and dangerous creatures to be wary of.
The fortress of Shadow Keep serves as a "known" gateway to four of the other planets Eldin-gar rules. A fifth gateway to Earth lies just a few days of hard riding away form the throne of Lord Gar. |

Tan-tar
is a moon to a large gas giant. It was once
lush with two thriving cultures. One lived below the surface
mining, while surface dwellers farmed and traded with the other known
worlds through the Shadow Keep gateway. In an age lost with legend
centuries before the Dragon War, the planet endured a great cataclysm.
Many, fearing the anger of their gods, closed off their gateways to
Tan-tar and the inhabitants were left there to fend for themselves.
Although no one knows for certain what happened in the years after, one thing was clear; when the Dragon War reached Tan-tar, there was nothing worth fighting for. All signs of civilization on the surface were gone. Below the surface, although there was rampant famine, a few Mirthians survived in their decaying and crumbling cities. The once happy race of small folk with chameleon abilities were bitter with hatred for the other seven known worlds. |
| New Planet here Matt. | XXX,
Terra, or whatever you want to call it, has thus far evaded the wrath of
Eldin-gar beyond that of infrequent slave collection. Although
Earth is counted by Eldin-gar as the last of the eight known inhabited
worlds, he is reluctant to bring complete control of the planet under
his rule due the uncontrollable citizens, Humans.
Unknown to Eldin-gar, the people of Earth have done well in their own right with the closing of the Dark Ages centuries ago. It was during this Dark Age when Lord Gar visited Earth last, investigating what he believed to be a vein of Tel-da-tan, The Blood of the Dragon. He hears whispers from his Gerbin soldiers of unspeakable wonders but passes this off as nonsense from insignificant imaginations.

A very short history of his Universe A Dragon War that spanned the eight known inhabited worlds is finally won by a group of dwarves, allied with the other races, that use their vast underground mines as well laid traps. After many of the dragons were trapped and killed in massive cave-ins, life became less violent and the dwarves became woodsmen and farmers for fear of reopening a closed chamber and freeing a hibernating dragon. Several artifacts possessing great power were discovered in one of the dragon's home lairs. In seeking peace, the dwarves distributed these instruments of great power to their allies. Time went on and while each race held an artifact, they all lived in peace with the balance of power. Trade flourished between the worlds and Shadow Keep became the capitol of the planet San-soon. From Shadow Keep, a portal controlled by a race of Channelors served as the gateway to many of the worlds. Far below the surface of Shadow Keep a discovery was made by Eldin-gar. The discovery, the tel-da-tan, was among the dragons dead remains. After the dragon's death, Eldin-gar discovered its powers were released in a physical, liquid form. These powers could be transferred and Eldin-gar consumed the Blood of the Dragon. Eldin-gar bided his time and became very powerful as he learned how to use his new found powers.. Eldin-gar, consumed by his own greed and the thirst for the tel-da-tan, took over Shadow Keep, as well as seven of the eight known worlds as he slowly gained control over many of the artifacts through treachery, death, and deceit. One weapon he did not gain possession of, The Axe of the Bree, guarded by dwarven family of Bree, continued to elude him. Eldin-gar rose to the rank of Lord above the Elders of the other races. In order to remain in power, he enslaved the other races to do his bidding as his armies of Gerbin continued the search for the Blood of the Dragon, or tel-da-tan, solely for his benefit. As long as no others were able to taste the source of his power, he would remain in undisputed control. A thousand years pass by while Lord Gar remains in power. But, not long ago in a convenience store the other day... On the eighth known inhabited world, Earth, Lord Gar sent out his minions to collect slaves for his mines. One earthling, Sara is abducted by Lord Gar's gerbin foot soldiers. Spree sees what has happened. He summons Joel and the two go to the rescue. After chasing the gerbin through a portal created by a Channelor back to San-soon, they become quickly engaged in a fight that leaves them separated and unconscious. Stranded on a strange planet, each must find their way back home without the others' assistance. Unfortunately for them, the way back home lies through Lord Gar who now holds Sara on yet another planet, in the slave mines of Tan-tar. |
